Shredder for Materials Recovery

The repair of an old shredder would be most appreciated to facilitate the breaking up of twigs, stalks and leaves into smaller pieces before pouring them into the compost pits. 
This would be located at the compost pit area, near the Materials Recovery Facility.
I would encourage Biology teachers to have their students take part in this activity and get a feel at composting to help protect the environment.

Below is the Materials Recovery Facility, where segregated waste (recyclables, paper, nonbiodegradables) are contained.

Below are the compost pits where biodegradables (food wastes, leaves, twigs, etc.) are dumped for composting.

Below is a cost estimate for the project.
